When you write in, please include:
Entirely on your device. Expensly never uploads your transactions, budgets, or settings to any server. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
Open the app and go to Settings → Export / Import. You can export your data as CSV or JSON, save it somewhere safe (cloud storage, email, etc.), and import it back later or onto a new device.
Go to Settings → About & Legal → Delete All Data, type DELETE in the confirmation field, and tap the red button. Everything will be erased from your device and cannot be recovered.
Expensly does not require an account, so there is nothing to delete on our side — your data lives on your device only. Uninstalling the app also removes everything.
If you set a recovery email, tap “Forgot PIN?” on the lock screen and follow the prompts. If you didn’t set one, you’ll need to uninstall and reinstall the app, which clears all data. We can’t reset PINs from our side because we don’t have access to your device.
Use Export on the old device to save a JSON file (email it to yourself, save to cloud storage, etc.), install Expensly on the new device, then use Import to load the file.
Because it doesn’t need any. Expensly works fully offline and only reads and writes its own private storage on your device.
Yes. The current version is free with no in-app purchases or ads. We may offer optional paid features in the future, but the core tracking will remain free.
Sorry about that! Please email support@exspensly.com with steps to reproduce, what you expected, and what actually happened. A screenshot helps a lot.
Expensly does not require an account. Because we have no servers, no account exists for us to delete. Your data lives on your device only. To delete it: open the app and tap Settings → About & Legal → Delete All Data, or simply uninstall the app.
